VERBODEN FESTIVAL PHOTOS AND AN INTERVIEW WITH BOY HARSHER
With thanks to Joey Chaos, here is the Verboden photo recap.
Verboden is DIY, multi-genre electronic music festival in Vancouver. These photos are representative of its fourth year.
As a bonus to these photos, festival headliners Boy Harsher stopped by No Fun Radio to be interviewed by Ash from lié/Minimal Violence on behalf of No Fun Radio and Neon Waste. Click here and have a browse if you’d like.
No Fun Radio is a completely DIY run radio station that operates entirely on donations from it’s supporters. They have recently opened up a Patreon as a simple way to support. They are lovely people and we look forward to working with them closely.
Joey Chaos has been documenting the Vancouver music under the banner BAD/GOOD since 2013. He has been involved with the Verboden Music Festival for the last four years. He also plays in the group Joey Chaos and the Ghosts. Ash Luk continues to perform in Lie and Minimal Violence and is one of the coolest guitar players this side of the No Wave. No Fun Radio is Vancouver’s only multi-genre subculture hub.
