Ilpo Väisänen (of Pan Sonic) and Dirk Dresselhaus (aka Schneider TM) have been working together for over two decades. Through this improvisational noise and electro-acoustic project they allow energy to circulate freely between machines, bodies, and different acoustic conditions, exploring the physical complexity of unstructured electronic music. Over the years their collaborators have included the likes of Oren Ambarchi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Strings Of Consciousness, BJ Nilsen, and Lucio Capece, while their recordings have surfaced on labels like Editions Mego, Cosmo Rhythmatic, Oral, and BiP_HOp.

Xambuca is the solo project of Chandra Shukla, founder of Erototox Decodings from San Francisco, now relocated to Asheville. Shukla is a multimedia artist who strives to emphasize both the sonic and visual worlds in his work, and a musician who produces, records, and performs live internationally. He has worked with such renowned artists such Genesis P-Orridge (of Psychic TV) and Hans-Joachim Roedelius (of Cluster).

Born and raised in Italy, Giorgio Magnanensi currently lives in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. His diverse artistic practice includes composition, conducting, improvisation, circuit bending, and video art. He is artistic director of both Vancouver New Music and Laboratorio, as well as a lecturer at the Vancouver Community College School of Music.

A veteran in our local electronic music community, Nicole Goodman has the uncanny ability to produce something greater and less defined than music. Combining esoteric samples, liquid drones, and psychic manipulation, her performances will take you apart and put you back together. Simultaneously nurturing and fragmenting, her sound pulls you through the mess of reality into a place you never knew you held inside. If you find yourself anywhere near the sound system while she's at the controls, we recommend you lie down. Nicole operates out of Deep Blue where she is currently preparing a release for local imprint New Body Alliance, as well as organizing a series of ambient events.
