PUNKS GIVE BACK TO THE DTES

The Black Lab Presents a fundraiser for local groups combating overdose death and the crisis of prohibition.

All proceeds from the door go towards:

The Coalition of Peers Dismantling the Drug War
https://www.cpddw.ca/
A collection of people who use drugs, and their allies, with the collective goal of establishing a low barrier accessible safe supply of drugs that is non-medicalized and available to all.

Tenant Overdose Response Organizers
https://dtescollaborative.org/toro-project/
An initiative in private SROs in the DTES - TOROs work with nurses to provide overdose response training and deliver harm reduction education and supplies to tenants and landlords, as well as distributing naloxone and developing systems to respond to overdoses in their buildings.
